International Day of the Girl Child - Malala, our role model

Thanks to Ilse who shared this great link of interview with us!!! In Asia, the bias of gender is a serious problem which has caused gender ratio imbalance. The birth rate of baby girls has been decling. Fortunately, this phenomena in Taiwan has been improving a lot and the birth rate of both boys and girls becomes almost equal. However, we care about girls in other places in the world for girls have been suffered for centuries in many aspects of life. .

    Thank you very much for the information, Lin-lin. There is so little known to the general public in Europe and the U.S. in terms of this problem in some Asian countries.
